Technology in the Classroom

As my Technology Class at Trinity Christian College comes to an end I want to reflect on the things I have learned from the class and how it has impacted me. The first thing I can say is WOW. I always found myself to be tech savy and ahead of the curve when it came to using technology, however when I saw how big of an impact it can have in a classroom I was truly astonished. Google has revolutionized what the internet is capable of inside a classroom and it really gives me a sense of hope for the up and coming generations of students. They will have access to technology that I was only able to dream of having while growing up. The creative games online, the ability to do stop motion animation using Google Slides, Google Forms, Mentimeter, it would be impossible to explain all these things in a single blog post. Music and the Brain

I remember when I was younger my parents and other adults would also say that playing instruments makes you smarter in school and learning in general. I never really believed it even though I have played instruments my entire life. I never thought I was smarter or learning better, I just liked to play instruments and that was that. I recently started playing guitar again after a year or two hiatus and while watching a Youtube video about how to play a certain song a Ted-Ed talk showed up in my suggestions...
